Job Description

Position Overview

Quatrain Creative, a content marketing agency, is seeking long-term relationships with experienced graphic designers. Potential assignments include e-books, sales sheets, infographics, and slide decks. It's not necessary to have expertise in all of these areas—we are looking to work with multiple designers who can be matched with assignments that fit their strengths.

Expert-level knowledge of relevant design programs is essential. This includes Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Powerpoint. For ebooks, case studies, and other layout projects, knowledge of InDesign's advanced features (styles, text wrap, parent pages, etc.) is required.

This is a remote, project-based freelance opportunity. Good communication and attention to details and deadlines are critical in this position.

The ideal candidate: 

  • Has at least 3-5 years of working experience as a graphic designer or art director.
  • Has deep expertise and extensive portfolio examples in at least one of our main design areas: publication layout (ebooks, sales sheets), infographics, or slide decks (Powerpoint).
  • Is quick, reliable, and able to develop highly polished and professional work without the aid of a creative director and with minimal rounds of revisions needed.
  • Can work autonomously, diving into background sources to familiarize themselves with the client's brand and voice and produce compelling, on-brand work with engaging and compelling visuals.
  • Can deliver high-quality work on time, free of errors, and communicate closely with Quatrain leadership on projects. 
  • Possesses excellent project management, time management, and communication skills.
  • Is fluent in English, both written and spoken essential.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Available for quick turnaround projects.
  • Senior-level design experience.
  • Works primarily as a self-employed freelance designer – we are looking for a long-term working relationship with a designer who can become an integral part of our freelance team.
  • Experience designing for a B2B or C-suite audience.
  • Experience designing for clients in the tech industry.
