As a Laboratory Assistant at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will play a key part in managing the intake and processing of lab specimens, assisting with clerical functions, and supporting testing and phlebotomy efforts. Your work will directly support diagnostic testing and patient care across the hospital. Key Responsibilities Include: + Practice positive patient identification and ensure proper specimen labeling + Greet and communicate with patients and team members with professionalism and HumanKindness + Process and organize specimens for department distribution with speed and accuracy + Handle send-out lab testing, including packaging and documentation for external labs + Assist with blood collection following proper venipuncture and capillary techniques (if phlebotomy is part of the role) + Support clerical tasks and workflow needs to ensure the lab operates smoothly + Collaborate with lab team members to resolve issues and maintain high-quality service Why Join Us?
